Mercer County Procurement Readiness & Empowerment Program – Now Open

Please find information attached and below regarding the Mercer County Procurement Readiness & Empowerment Program, a new initiative launched by the Mercer County Office of Economic Development in partnership with the New Jersey Small Business Development Center at The College of New Jersey.

The free four-week, hands-on program is designed to help small businesses successfully compete for County and State contracts and reflects our commitment to strengthening the local economy by equipping certified small businesses with the tools and knowledge needed to access public procurement opportunities.

The program will run throughout May 2026 and includes a combination of in-person and virtual sessions led by procurement and business development experts.  Our first event will take place next week on May 7^th.  Please find a list of events below:
