Description:
The New Jersey Career Accelerator Internship Grant Program (CAIGP) for FY26 is now open and accepting applications from New Jersey employers interested in hosting paid college student interns during Summer 2026. This grant program provides funding support to help employers develop meaningful, hands-on internship opportunities that align with New Jersey’s workforce and labor market needs.
Eligible interns include:
- Students currently attending New Jersey colleges and universities
- Recent graduates of New Jersey colleges
- New Jersey residents attending out-of-state colleges
Administered in partnership with the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development, CAIGP is designed to strengthen the talent pipeline, promote equitable access to experiential learning, and connect employers with emerging talent across high-demand industries.
Who Should Attend / Apply:
New Jersey-based businesses, nonprofits, and organizations seeking to build talent, support workforce development, and offset the cost of hosting interns.
Action Item:
Employers are encouraged to review eligibility requirements and submit applications early, as funding is competitive.
