All new businesses established in Mercer County can file a Trade Name Certificate with the County Clerk’s Office (only for small businesses and Non-Profit Churches).  All Trade Names must make an appointment.  Click here or call 609-989-6465 for appointments.  

Amendments to business registrations may also be done in this office.

Notes: Banks generally require all businesses to register a trade name before opening a business checking account.

All parties must sign these forms in the presence of a Notary Public or Attorney prior to recording.
