Meet Paula Sollami Covello, Mercer County Clerk
Welcome Letter from Mercer County Clerk Paula Sollami Covello
Thank you for visiting this website! Please explore this website to learn about the many services offered by the Mercer County Clerk's Office. We also provide a number of forms to obtain these services and QR codes for many.
The County Clerk's Office offers a broad range of services that Mercer residents and businesses use every day. It is the Clerk's Office that files and records all documents concerning real estate ownership and transfer; registers small business trade names; accepts U.S. passport applications; processes and issues County and Veteran identification cards and swears in notary public applicants. We also have certain election responsibilities.
Early in my administration we also began offering photos for people seeking passports and began offering extended hours for passports in two offices, our Trenton Office and at the Mercer County Connection Office in Hamilton Township. We also visit various municipalities throughout Mercer to bring these services directly to the residents on special dates.
The County Clerk also has certain election responsibilities including the printing of ballots, counting of votes cast by electronic machines and the issuance of vote-by-mail ballots. In fact, we post election results for you on this website. Lastly, we maintain a public record room where title searchers and members of the public can view a property's history. Much of this information has also been digitized under my time in office and can be viewed on one of two search sites by registering with us (see below). Because Mercer County is rich in American history, you may find some exciting information about local properties.
Please stop by and visit us and see how the Mercer County Clerk's Office can be of service to you! We are located at 209 South Broad Street in Trenton. My staff and I are here to serve you. Our top priority is that you, Mercer County residents and businesses, receive what you pay for in excellent government service.
Best Wishes,
Paula Sollami Covello, Mercer County Clerk
