The Mercer County Commission on the Status of Women will host its annual Woman of Achievement and Young Woman of Achievement Awards reception on Wednesday, March 10, 2027, at the Boathouse at Mercer Lake beginning at 6 p.m. Nomination forms for the 2027 awards will be posted on the website in mid-September. Recipients will be celebrated for their volunteer work in Mercer County.   

Our 2026 honorees included three woman, two high school young women, and an area agency, all of whom work to improve the lives of Mercer County residents.

2026 Woman of Achievement:

• Kieanna Childs Alexander of Hamilton
• Nicole Plett of Lawrenceville
• Ruth Scott of Princeton

Young Woman of Achievement :

• Megana Madhurakavi of Robbinsville
• Xintong Si of Lawrenceville

The Commission also recognized Resistencia en Acción New Jersey for its impactful work with migrant communities in Mercer County.
