The Mercer County Advisory Council on Special Transportation serves as an advisory capacity to the governing body of Mercer County and the Mercer County Director of TRADE Transportation Division with respect to the organization and delivery of special transportation service in Mercer County. The council also assists the director of TRADE in the development of a comprehensive specialized transportation services plan for Mercer County and provides an opportunity and forum for professionals, providers, public officials, citizens, and consumers to work together to improve the network of specialized transportation services in Mercer County.
