Division of Youth Services Request for Proposals for Restorative and Transformative Justice for Youth and Communities Pilot Program 2026-2027

The Mercer County Department of Human Services, Division of Youth Services, is seeking proposals from qualified applicants, including local government and non-profit organizations, preferably from the City of Trenton, for the 2026 Restorative and Transformative Justice for Youth and Communities Pilot Program. This Youth Justice Commission funding, totaling $500,000.00, is for the period of July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with two (2) one (1) year options to extend, based on the performance of the lead agency and standards set forth in the County contract. The successful organization/agency will be required to collaborate with the Mercer County Youth Services Commission and other community partners to deliver restorative and transformative justice services that support youth transitioning from Youth Justice Commission (YJC) facilities and help prevent Trenton youth from entering the youth justice system.
