The County of Mercer seeks proposals from consultants prequalified by NJDOT1 for Traffic Engineering (T-1) and Transportation Planning (T-7) to develop a Supplement to a county-wide Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) action plan. The project involves working with Numetric AASHTO-Ware, supplemented with NJDOT and local roadway facility data, to identify and prioritize locations to implement FHWA Proven Safety Countermeasures on public streets and land access highways maintained by every public agency in Mercer County. Close coordination with agency representatives is required, along with development and advertisement of web content and public service announcements that explain the project and safe use of transportation facilities for all roadway users.
