DESCRIPTION:<p>Falls are the leading cause of traumatic injuries in older adults.&nbsp; </p><p>This fall prevention program for caregivers and older adults is designed to address the factors that contribute to falls, including physical deconditioning, environmental hazards, and medication side effects. &nbsp;</p><p>We will discuss ways to improve strength, balance, and confidence to reduce fall-related injuries, as well as what to do if a fall occurs.&nbsp; </p><p><i>This program is presented by the Senior Well-Being program at Oaks Integrated Care. </i></p><p><i>The Senior Well-Being program is funded by the Older Americans Act and the Mercer County Office on Aging.</i></p><p><strong>Registration required, please call (609) 890-9800.</strong></p>
