The Mercer County Department of Transportation and Infrastructure has completed the rehabilitation of the bridge carrying South Clinton Avenue over Assunpink Creek in the City of Trenton. The bridge was reopened to vehicular traffic April 30 on budget.

Dam Site 21 is a 370-acre county-owned tract that will be the focus of a series of public meetings to discuss enhancements at the site. The second public meeting will be held Thursday, May 9, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Conference Center at Mercer County Community College.

Throughout the month of April, the Tulpehaking Nature Center is collecting tough-to-recycle items that would normally end up in the landfill. Visitors are welcome during open hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to drop off their chip bags, candy wrappers and #6 plastics.
