Mercer County is now operating an appointment-only, drive-up testing site for COVID-19 at Quaker Bridge Mall in Lawrence. Your doctor must fax your prescription to the site's appointment makers. Those who show up and who do not have an appointment will not be able to be tested. If you are symptomatic and need testing you must contact your doctor who will fax a prescription to the test site. The fax number is: (609) 630-4031.

Mission:

Enable individuals with disabilities to have universal access and integrated services within the One-Stop Career Center (OSCC).

Goal:

Ensure that the Workforce Development Board (WDB) policies and program strategies provide employment outcomes for individuals with disabilities.

Objectives:

  • Optimize One-Stop Career Center accessibility for individuals with disabilities
  • Ensure that the services for individuals with disabilities are integrated into the One-Stop system
  • Identify training needs and resources for individuals with disabilities
  • Provide sensitivity training to the community regarding the employment of individuals with disabilities
  • Enhance linkages with community-based programs
  • Collaborate and provide recommendations to the WDB regarding employment issues and concerns for individuals with disabilities
  • Develop continuous educational opportunities for One-Stop Career Center staff regarding issues impacting the employment of individuals with disabilities
  • Build outreach and partner with employers to create opportunities
