July 14 Formal Meeting to be held in East Windsor Township

Trenton – Mercer County Board of Chosen Freeholders Chair, Ann M. Cannon recently announced that the Freeholder Board will be traveling to the East Windsor Township to hold their July 14 formal meeting. The meeting will take place at the East Windsor Township Municipal Building, 16 Lanning Boulevard at 6:00 PM.

In an effort to increase awareness, participation, and transparency in Mercer County government, the Freeholders have made it a tradition to hold formal meetings at various locations throughout Mercer County.

“Unfortunately not everyone is able to make it to Trenton for our meetings, as a board we have made a concerted effort to take our meetings directly to our constituents,” said Freeholder Chair Ann M. Cannon.  “As a long-time East Windsor resident I look forward to presiding over a meeting in my hometown.”

In addition to the formal business of the County, the Freeholders will be honoring winners of the 2016 Freeholder’s Scholarship to attend Mercer County Community College.

The Freeholder Board normally meets at the Joyce McDade Administration Building located at 640 South Broad Street in Trenton. For more information on the Freeholder Board and future meeting dates please visit
