Freeholder Anthony Carabelli Speaks to Final GALRE Class

Hamilton – Mercer County Freeholder Anthony Carabelli recently spoke to Steinert High School Government and Law Related Experiences (GALRE) students. In January, Carabelli announced that he will not be seeking reelection, which marks this lecture as his last GALRE appearance as an elected official.
Carabelli answered a wide array questions and spoke to the students about his 46 years in public office, what drove him to seek elected office, and a Freeholders role in County Government.
“I’ve been in public office for 46 years and 35 of those years I’ve been a Freeholder,” said Anthony Carabelli. “One of the highlights of being a Freeholder is the opportunities we are given to speak to the students throughout the County.”
