Mercer County has been asked whether the commercial airline operating at Trenton-Mercer Airport utilizes any Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft, which have recently been banned by the Federal Aviation Administration due to mechanical issues. The commercial carrier at Trenton-Mercer Airport does not have that aircraft in its fleet, and the airport is not directly affected by the federally imposed grounding of the Boeing 737 Max 8.

Mercer County residents are reminded to rake leaves into piles between the sidewalk and the curb. Crews will NOT pick up leaves mixed with twigs, sticks, stones or brush. Do not park cars on or in front of leaf piles. It creates a fire hazard and makes it impossible to pick up the leaves. NO BAGGED LEAVES WILL BE PICKED UP AT ANY TIME!

To see a schedule of when leaves will be picked up on your street, please click on Leaf Pickup Schedule. In addition, a day or two before leaf pickup, the crews will put signs on the affected streets to alert residents to put their leaves out and not park on the street.

Note: Leaf pickup performed by Mercer County Department of Transportation is limited to County Roads. Residents of municipal roads should contact their township for pickup information and schedules.
