Mercer County is now operating an appointment-only, drive-up testing site for COVID-19 at Quaker Bridge Mall in Lawrence. Your doctor must fax your prescription to the site's appointment makers. Those who show up and who do not have an appointment will not be able to be tested. If you are symptomatic and need testing you must contact your doctor who will fax a prescription to the test site. The fax number is: (609) 630-4031.

Mercer County to host document shredding Nov. 2

TRENTON—The Mercer County Improvement Authority will host a document shredding event for County residents on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Parking Lot 4 at 651 South Broad St., across from the County Administration Building in Trenton. This event will be held rain or shine.

While no registration is necessary, please note that the event is open to Mercer County residents only, and attendees will need to show proof of residency, such as a driver’s license. Up to eight boxes or bags of paper may be discarded. No household chemicals, no electronics, no commercial businesses.
