WEST WINDSOR — Mark your calendar for the first event of the festival season at Mercer County Park: the “UNCORK Spring” wine festival returns Saturday, April 27, and Sunday, April 28, from noon to 5 p.m.

“UNCORK Spring” will feature some of New Jersey’s best wineries including Tomasello Winery, Auburn Road Vineyards, Chestnut Run Farms, DiMatteo Vineyards, Four Sisters Winery, Monroeville Winery, Plagido’s Winery, Valenzano Winery, Villari Vineyards, Wagonhouse Winery, Terra Nonno Winery and Terhune Orchards Vineyard & Winery. The selected wineries will bring numerous award-winning wines for sample and for sale, some of which were featured at the International Finger Lakes Competition, the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition and the Indy International Wine Competition.

The festival will also feature a variety of food trucks, which will offer different meals and dessert options visitors can purchase throughout the day. Musical entertainment for the weekend will feature Goldenseal and Right Turn at 40 on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. For younger visitors, there will be a bounce house, crafts and face painting, along with lawn games. All activities in the Kids Zone are pay as you go.

Advance discount sampling tickets to “UNCORK Spring” at Mercer County Park are on sale now for only $20 (must be 21 or older to purchase). Sampling tickets at the gate are cash only each day for $25. Those sampling must present a valid ID at the gate for entry. Non-sampling tickets (21+) are $5 and can only be bought at the gate.
