Women of Achievement awards dinner reservations due March 12

Post Date:02/12/2018 3:20 PM
TRENTON, N.J. — The Mercer County Commission on the Status of Women will honor six outstanding women this year at its annual awards dinner Tuesday, March 27, at Mercer Oaks Clubhouse in West Windsor. The cocktail reception starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $45 per person, and advance reservations are required by March 12. Since this event typically sells out, tickets will not be available at the door.

“Women in every corner of Mercer County are doing remarkable things, and they exemplify the type of leadership and spirit that strengthens our community,” said Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes. “I am proud to recognize them for their work, and find it most fitting to recognize them during Women’s History Month.”

Honorees are women who live in Mercer County. This year’s recipients are:

Women of Achievement
Regina Arcuri of Robbinsville
Doreen Finley of Hamilton
Heidi Kahme of Titusville
Martha McDougald of Pennington

Young Women of Achievement
Kate Liu of Princeton, a junior at The Lawrenceville School
Elizabeth Araba Aikins of Robbinsville, a senior at Robbinsville High School

The Woman of Achievement Award recognizes Mercer County residents who volunteer their time to make the county a better place to live, raise a family, and work. The Young Woman of Achievement Award honors high school students for their outstanding volunteer work within the county.
Registration and payment for this reception honoring these Mercer County residents are due March 12.
