The Mercer County Board of Social Services located at 200 Woolverton Street, Trenton, NJ will be renovating the customer service front end lobby on Friday February 16, 2018 through Tuesday February 20, 2018. During this renovation Mercer County Board of Social Services will provide limited services which will include emergency services and scheduled appointments only. We will resume full customer services on Wednesday, February 21, 2018.

Most Mercer County offices to be closed for Election Day

TRENTON, N.J.—Most Mercer County offices and facilities will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017, in observance of Election Day, although some will remain open or have modified hours.

The following County offices and facilities will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 7, and will reopen for business on Wednesday, Nov. 8: McDade Administration Building, 640 South Broad St.; Criminal Courthouse, 400 South Warren St.; Civil Courthouse and Office of the County Surrogate, 175 South Broad St.; and Mercer County Connection, Route 33 at Paxson Avenue, Hamilton. The office of County Clerk Paula Sollami Covello will be closed for regular business but will be open to perform election duties. Calls to the Clerk’s Office will be accepted at the following numbers: 609-989-6494 and 609-989-6495.

The following County facilities will remain open: Trenton-Mercer Airport (except administrative offices), Correction Center, Sheriff’s Office and the Emergency Services Communications Center. Also open for business will be four branches of the Mercer County Library system: Ewing, Hickory Corner, Lawrence Headquarters and West Windsor, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; all other branches will be closed for Election Day.

The following Mercer County Park Commission facilities will be open on Election Day: Ice Skating Center, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Tennis Center, 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.; all four County golf courses, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Equestrian Center, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Wildlife Center, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Tulpehaking Nature Center and Howell Living History Farm will be closed on Election Day.
